Home to spring training for the San Diego Padres & Seattle Mariners. Peoria is found right in between Glendale and Sun City, so you are not far from much of the entertainment, sports, and shopping. It is currently the 6th largest city based on land and 9th based on population.
Known for such famous long standing yearly events as Barrett Jackson Auto Auction, Arabian Horse Show, and Spring Training. It is a luxurious city that can be described as an oasis in the desert. The New York Times has described it’s downtown as “a desert version of Miami’s South Beach.”
Explore Sun City West
Sun City West is an adjoining sister city to Sun City and also a retirement community. It’s development was started about 10 years after Sun City and just like in it’s name, it is west of Sun City. Golf courses, tennis, swimming, dog parks, places of worship, a nationally ranked hospital, and much more can all be found.
Home to the Arizona Cardinals and Arizona Coyotes, Glendale features some of the largest sporting events in Arizona. Here you can be close to the action! You can also find great shopping and dining at either Westgate or Arrowhead Entertainment Districts.
The largest and capital city of Arizona, there isn’t much you can’t find here. Phoenix ranks among one of the fastest growing cities in the nation due to many activities you can do almost year round because of the beautiful weather – hiking, golf, arts and culture, city parks, and more.
Explore Sun City
Sun City is a retirement community popular to “snowbirds.” It is located to the far north west of the major metropolitan areas, such as Phoenix. It boasts 120 clubs, 7 contemporary recreation centers, and 5 championship golf courses. You won’t have to look far for fun activities to do.
Found surrounded by Sun City, Surprise has been ranked as one of the fastest expanding cities in Arizona. The area caters to new home buyers with it’s attractively priced new homes and low property taxes. Like several other cities in Arizona, spring training can also be found here with the Kansas City Royals & Texas Rangers.
